All Distance Learning classes include:
1. Take a Stand curriculum
2. Instructional DVD program for the parent and child
3. ONE FULL YEAR of ESSAY GRADING and email communication regarding analytical essay writing.
Once you sign up for the course, materials are shipped to you!
The Take a Stand! Instructional DVD teaches the parent and the child the tools of historical analysis, the Socratic discussion, and analytical writing. Students follow the 32 week course guide, complete with reading, discussion, and writing assignments (Click here for Text recommendations), OR, the parent chooses the reading texts. Once a week, the student discusses with their home school teacher the research he has conducted. Students email their essay into The Classical Historian for grading and feedback. The student may rewrite the essay an unlimited number of times at no extra charge.
Complete price for this class: $300/year per student.
